Classically trained Amy, studied costume making at the University of Rose Bruford. Choosing the highly acclaimed costume making degree, one of the only sewing focused course in the country, trained in one off garment creation, designed to express the individuality of each character. Amy specialised in couture sewing, garment construction and corsetry By combining traditional crafting techniques with a forward-thinking approach to design and innovation.
Bespoke couture is Amy’s true passion. Inspired by the brides themselves - her original designs are shaped by their unique personalities, experiences, individual style, and even their insecurities. Each new dress is a blank canvas; anything is possible.
Amy discovered creativity early: sketching, painting and crafting from childhood, then discovering the precision and possibility of fabric and thread. For more than a decade she has taught sewing, guiding students of all levels to discover technique, confidence and their own creative voice. For the past eight years she has specialised in bridal sewing, combining technical skill with an eye for elegant detail to create garments that are thoughtfully constructed and timeless in style.
